I am sooo guilty of this and can hold my hand up. There is always a work deadline or a phone call to answer or a text to reply to , or house to clean. The list can be endless just when my kids ask me to carry on playing for that little bit longer.

I am thinking about ticking something off that list rather than an extra 5 minutes in the park, or role playing or decorating cakes. Because, I am always thinking it is wasting time….. but I remind myself – time spent together (or independently) for that matter is NEVER wasted time. This is why I see traveloutsidethebox such an all-round experience for quality bonding time as a family
